AGENCY WEAPONRY

Out in the field, an Agent’s weapons are his best—and sometimes his only—friends. The streets of Pacific City are dangerous places, Agent, and the gang members you’ll face are all well-armed and highly proficient in the art of weapon-based combat. Fortunately, so are you. The Agency has supplied you with top-of-the-line ordnance as you start your mission, and once you’ve begun liberating Pacific City from the terrors of its street gangs, you’ll want no other friends. Familiarity with your weapons is essential to your success, so study these profiles carefully—they might just keep you alive. 

Colby Master Pistol: The Master: stylish, simple, classic. Every Peacekeeper who has ever worn an Agency badge has at one time held a Colby, and none have ever forgotten the feeling. Deadly and frighteningly accurate, the Master holds 180 rounds of punk-killing ammo. It is lightweight, accurate, and has a higher rate of fire than one might expect. Targeting your foes with the Master by holding the left trigger will soon become second nature as you jump and strut your way around Pacific City. The Master also features a rudimentary scope, standard on all Colby weaponry, which is perfect for getting up close and personal with your targets and, when used in tandem with the right-joystick movements for targeting specific parts of an assailant’s body, it becomes an unstoppably deadly force. The scope is a feature you won’t find on most gang weapons, so take advantage of it. Simply press any direction on the D-pad and watch your headshot count rise…or kneecap your opponents if you like to hear the sound of their faces hitting the pavement before you bring the hammer of justice down on them. The Colby Master has gotten many an Agent out of many a tight spot; respect it and it will respect you.

Colby EAR50: Your second weapon is the EAR50, a standard issue semi-automatic. This starts out as your backup weapon to the Colby Master Pistol, so lightly tap the X button to switch between the two. The EAR50 comes equipped with an impressive 480-round barrel, superior to the ammo capacity of most gang SMG’s. The weapon rate is much faster than your Colby Master Pistol, making it perfect for going against larger groups of gang members. Like the Colby Master Pistol, the EAR50 includes a scope, a rare feature on a semi-automatic that makes it easier to dispense fast, unforgiving judgment on a crowd from a distance; the scope is activated by the D-Pad.  The weapon also includes a specially designed stock, exclusive to the EAR50, that fits snugly against your shoulder and allows for a smooth, controlled steam of fire.     

Grenade: In addition to firearms, you’ll also be supplied with explosives for wider-range assaults. The grenade is simple and to the point: toss one into a crowd of undesirables and buy them a first-class ticket on Justice Airlines. To throw your grenade, simply press the Right Bumper button and plug your ears. Grenades are especially effective near gas drums, propane tanks, and any other object with the explosive symbol on it. Use these strategically and your job will be easier—not to mention all the ammo you’ll save. Plus the loud “BOOM” is very satisfying. But be warned, Agent: once it leaves your hand, a grenade can take on a life of its own, so make sure you don’t get caught in the blast radius unless you’re wearing your asbestos underwear.

These weapons have been custom-fitted to your exact body specifications so appreciate the comfort, versatility, and durability you won’t find elsewhere. Once you squeeze these triggers, you won’t want to pick up another piece of second-hand gang weaponry. Simply visit the nearest supply point to restock your ammo and carry on cleaning the streets with your official Agency-issued weapons.
